Bio

Patrick is a Canberra local with a passion for sports, performance, and helping people achieve their full potential. He holds a Bachelor of Podiatry from Charles Sturt University (CSU) and a Master of High Performance Sport from Australian Catholic University (ACU). Patrick’s professional interests include Sports & Exercise Podiatry, with a focus on footwear, biomechanics, lower limb strength and conditioning, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and the use of cutting-edge objective testing technology to optimise performance and recovery.

Patrick is the first podiatrist in Australia to achieve dual accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as both an Exercise Scientist (AES) and a Level 2 Sports Scientist (ASpS2). He is also the first podiatrist in Australia to hold Professional and Level 2 Strength & Conditioning Coach accreditations with the Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA) under the Professional Coaching Accreditation Scheme (PCAS)—the gold standard for working in professional sports rehabilitation and strength and conditioning.

With over 13 years of experience as a high-performance coach, Patrick has worked with elite athletes and teams across a wide range of sports, including the NRL/NRLW, AFL/AFLW, NBL, Rugby Union, A-League, NCAA Division 1, as well as Olympians, national champions, and high-profile entertainers. His systematic approach involves analysing individual needs, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing tailored strategies to enhance performance, injury resilience, and longevity in sport.

In August 2024, Patrick was admitted as a Fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, a prestigious honour recognising his qualifications, experience, and contributions to the profession through education, mentorship, and professional development. This distinction places him among a select few podiatrists in Australia to hold this title.

Beyond his professional achievements, Patrick is deeply committed to fostering genuine relationships with his clients. He believes in building trust and collaboration to ensure athletes not only perform at their best but also feel supported every step of the way. His holistic, evidence-based approach combines technical expertise with a passion for innovation, making him a sought-after expert in sports podiatry and high-performance coaching.

When he’s not immersed in the world of sports and exercise podiatry, Patrick enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, road running, photography, trail running, hiking, golf, and playing guitar. He’s also a self-proclaimed food enthusiast, always on the lookout for the next great culinary experience, both locally, globally and across Australia.
